It seems guys are really in tuned to getting paid late in there careers. No salary cap lets these guys get paid for what they did not what they will do. From day 1 it was an obvious mistake as he was declining with the Mets.I am guessing either the Braves thought he could rebound or they thought he was critical to make a playoff run.I think the price in picks was a bit high for either risk.
