JOBS – The Four Letter Word of the Obama Administration

I’m convinced that “jobs” is a four letter word in the Obama Administration. I can see it now. Barack stubs his toe on an end table and yells, “Oh jobs!” *giggles*

But in all seriousness, I find it interesting that he’s been the President for TWO AND A HALF YEARS already and JUST realized that jobs is an issue. Either that or he “hoped” that things would “change” without him having to do anything.

And yet, he did have to do something. So he did what he does best….the only thing he ever does. He gave another speech.

Now, those who voted for Obama who are upset with him and his performance, I don’t feel sorry for you. You elected a man because he gave good speeches….are you at all surprised that it is all he’s done thus far?

Back to the jobs bill. During the speech Obama kept saying “pass it” and to be honest, it had a little bit of an Obamacare feel to it. Do we need to pass this bill to before we can know what is in it? I don’t like it. Not one bit.

Here’s what I know. The Government can’t mandate that people hire. Only the people can hire. When people have more funds to hire, they hire. And that’s where this “income adjustment” aka taxes comes in to play. Keep taxes low, people have more of their own money, with more money they can hire more people, more people working means more money in the economy…it just makes common sense.

Then again, common sense is something this Administration is severely lacking.

I love watching the Liberals start freaking out about 2012. Unless Obama does something big–and I mean really, really big, he’s not going to win. America has had enough and, like I said unless something really big changes, we’ll have moving trucks in front of the White House in January 2013. But hey, that’d be a few jobs Obama could take credit for creating!

I hope you all enjoyed my live tweeting of the straw poll and the GOP debates. If you’re not sure what I’m talking about, be sure to follow @SoapBoxersLive on twitter.

I fo believe the man with the orange skin pissed and moaned constantly before the Pubes took control of the house where are the jobs. Almost a year later his party in control of the house has not put forth a single piece of legislation to do anything about that on the contrary they have made plenty of legislation intended to kill jobs. In fact the first time the crying man has mentioned the word jobs in the need to create them was after Obama made the push for a jobs bill. Should Obama have donene more about this from the start, yes. However when you need a super majority to get anything done in the Senate and the Pubes couldnt agree that the sky is up if Obama says it is nothing is going to get done. As far as the tax thing goes Crunchy I hate to burst your bubble but taxes have not been raised in this administration they actually have made further cuts. It certainly has not done anything to make any jobs maybe the job creators you are referring to don’t like who is President and would rather pockets some extra profit than do anything benificial to the country that might up his status. That is the Republican way these days it seems.

As far as being upset with Obama I am not upset in the slightest in how I voted. What I am tired of with him is his nature of trying to believe the best in people especially Republican politicians, when frankly they do not think you should be President for whatever reason they want to think up of today and honestly just don’t give a damn what happens to the country if it puts him in a bad light. That is what I am pissed off about in Obama. The whole push it to the people move should have been how he should have done things since day one. Then again Republicans don’t care about people, sorry I take that back corporations are people afterall…

But of course across the aisle we have the Republicans trying to convince anyone who will believe them (and judging by the ratings at Fox News, there are plenty) that cutting taxes to investment bankers and oil companies will create jobs through “trickle down.”

Companies aren’t hiring because people aren’t spending. Period. Not because they’re worried about < 10% differences in the corporate tax rate which has more loopholes than a brick of Swiss Cheese.

It takes two to tango, and the republicans are no better. Just say no, and get paid for being in congress and doing nothing. Dems and retardicans should both be disgusted and throw both out to join the unemployed.

It is time to cut corporate welfare to … Only get tax cuts for creating jobs in America that pay $30/hr or more that exist for more than 5 years otherwise all corporate tax credits, deductions, and write offs would be terminated … No more free money for doing nothing
