Should 200 hits be a magical target to shoot for? Would you rather have a guy with 200 hits and 25 walks or 185 hits and 90 walks? I'm not suggest that Ichiro isn't a fine player - clearly, he is. But it might be time to tweak some of the traditional milestones. No mention of Serena's meltdown? Maybe this can serve to educate kids (and adults) that this sort of behavior can have serious consequences. I’m going to be a bit of a contrarian here.
